Isabella (Galvin) Miranda, 76, passed away unexpectedly in her home on December 24, 2012.
Born on September 6, 1936 in Harwich, MA the daughter of the late Benjamin and Emma (Lopes) Galvin.
She was the beloved wife of the late Julius “Mingo” Miranda.
She was predeceased by her late son Kevin Miranda and survived by her four children Charlene Fisher, Warren Miranda, Leonard Miranda and Delmay Lopes. Two son-in-laws Rodney Fisher and Donald Lopes, and two daughter-in-laws Laura Miranda and Brenda Miranda. She also was he proud grandmother of Thirteen grandchildren; Sherae, Jeremiah, Derrick, Benjamin, Danielle, Victoria, Dawn, Rachael, Miranda, Chelsie, Autumn, Nicole and Jordan and the great grandmother of six.
Predeceased by her late siblings, Deltina Rose, Joseph Galvin, Edward Galvin, Stella Perry, Josephine Perry, Gertrude Silvia. She is survived by her siblings Margaret Perry, Marlene Galvin, Ann Galvin, Ronald Galvin, Barbara Barrows, Rosaline Galvin and Eileen “Dukie’ Fernandes.
Isabella enjoyed bowling, knitting and crocheting. Bingo was also one of her favorite hobbies with family and friends, as well as enjoying time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30th from 1-4 pm at Morris, O’Connor & Blute Funeral home, 678 Main Street, Harwich Center. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 31st at 12 noon at Island Pond Cemetery, Harwich, MA.
